Hello there, I’m Amy…

I’m a qualified coach and experienced change facilitator

Over the last 15 years, I’ve worked facilitating big and small change in non-profits.

In this time, I’ve navigated the frustration, challenge, and joy of making change happen 100’s of times.

I draw on this experience, and my diverse training and skills in Executive Coaching, Gestalt Coaching, change management and behaviour change theory and practice in my work with individuals and teams.

I’m a qualified coach, and accredited member of the Association for Coaching – I started my coaching training with the highly regarded Academy of Executive Coaching back in 2016.

I believe that when we do things that are really right for us we create a more sustainable, healthy and joyful world.

I’m all about supporting you to find a way that’s right for you.

“Amy’s coaching style is grounding and compassionate. She helps you see the wood from the trees. She invites you to find the answers within yourself and move toward them with intention, celebrating each step as you take it.”

My coaching approach is...

Empowering

My coaching is non-directive – I won’t tell you what to do or advise you. Instead, I stand by you, hold you to account and support you as you find your way. If you are looking for answers I will ask you questions so you find them. As well as being incredibly effective and empowering, this approach builds resilience, self-awareness and confidence too.

Supportive

Change rarely comes easy. We’ll create a safe space where you can speak your mind, feel through fear and challenges and open up to possibilities. Coaching with me is a calm harbour you can return to through the highs and lows that come with change.

Spacious

I create the conditions for you to slow down, reflect, think and breathe deeply, feeling into where you are so you can work out what you need and want to do.

Aligned

Your circumstances and needs are unique, so our approach to working together will be too. We will develop a coaching partnership that best serves you. I’m trained in a variety of coaching styles and techniques so will use an approach that aligns to your needs and preferences.

More about me…

  • I live and work in Bristol, UK
  • Alongside coaching, I create slowly as a ceramicist and photographer – these things in combination support me to stay balanced through these tumultuous times

  • Back in my school days, a careers advice app concluded I could consider a career in baggage handling based on my interests at the time (being active, working outdoors and helping people)

  • I can probably be best described as a pragmatic idealist – I’m hopeful and imaginative, and love the science and practice of making “impossible” ideas a reality

  • I used to consider myself an anxious person – I’m very happy to say this is no-longer the case!
