Hello there, I’m Amy…

I’ve spent over 15 years managing programmes and projects with purpose-led organisations like The Mayor of London, The Soil Association, Foodrise, Sustain and WRAP.

Having done this work for many years, I know:

  • Project management is uniquely demanding work
  • Added to that, working in climate and nature can be particularly tough and heavy going
  • It’s so easy (and understandable) to get worn out doing this work
  • In fact, project managers are at a particularly high risk of burnout because of the demands of your role

I spent the first decade of my work doing great things with great people, but with every year that passed I got more stressed and less well. It took me many years to realise my struggles were understandable and widely experienced in my role and sector – and over time I developed ways of working that worked for me, and the demands of project management. The demands of the job didn’t change, but how I responded to them did.

Project management is uniquely challenging

Working in climate and nature, we so often focus on what we do – the impact we have in the world.

But to sustain the demands of project management, how you work is just as important.

I know from my own and others’ experience that:

  • A uniquely challenging job needs a unique way of working
  • There’s no one way to work – finding what works for you sets you up to experience more ease, energy and peace
  • When you work in ways that really work for you, energy and confidence grows
  • Developing new ways of working is doable and foundational – it sets you up to feel well and do well for life

Coaching with me helps you make work much more manageable and enjoyable again, so you can sustain your health and impact for years to come.
